Robbinsville Township in Mercer County (estimated population 14,000) was originally incorporated as Washington Township in 1859. In January of 2008, the name of the town changed to Robbinsville to differentiate itself from the other Washington Townships in New Jersey. The town comprises approximately 20 square miles.

Ideally situated near the NJ Turnpike, Interstate 195, and Route 130, Robbinsville has become a major hub for warehousing, logistics and small businesses. The town endeavors to be the economic engine for the region. Amazon recently leased a 1,000,000 square foot fulfillment center in Robbinsville.
